More about Novel: As Christians living in a privileged society, we often forget how our spending habits affect the poorest of the poor.  Fast Fashion is the best example of this in the 21st century.  Fast Fashion, driven by consumer need for cheap clothing, results in detriments to both the environment and human lives.

To ensure a profit, major clothing companies utilize factories that exploit workers through debt bondage, forced labor, and involuntary child labor with extremely dangerous working conditions. However, there are very few alternatives for individuals to purchase clothing ethically.  This is why Novel was created.

Novel is an ethical clothing line based in Columbus, OH that produces fair-trade, sustainable garments using organic materials. They ensure the workers that manufacture the clothing are given fair wages and treated justly, delivering a product to clients that will allow them to wear a better story and change the course of fashion history for generations to come.  Their goal is to employ survivors, homeless and those at risk of exploitation as the company continues to grow.

Their first capsule collection launches fall of 2016 and will be available for purchase online.  they currently have a crowdfunding campaign and need support for this venture.
