She Has A Name is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization committed to engaging the community, strengthening the anti-human trafficking ecosystem in central Ohio, and empowering those locally impacted by this issue. Staff Members

Courtney Schmackers

Executive Director

As executive director Courtney is responsible for implementing the mission and vision of She Has A Name. Her favorite part of her job is training individuals and organizations in understanding the cause and discovering how they can join in unique and meaningful ways. Courtney graduated summa cum laude from Capital University in 2013 with a degree in Communications, Spanish, and Journalism. She enjoys drinking tea, baking bread, and hiking.

Katie Lee

Program Director

As Program Director, Katie oversees and builds on Survivor Care programming such as the Strategies for Success Scholarship for survivors and a spiritual support group for women in transition. She graduated from Fisher College of Business and has several years of experience in non-profit work and social enterprise. Katie is mother to Forrest who is an extremely social and vocal little guy, and wife to Jason. Her second and third homes are in Hong Kong and Taiwan where she and Jason's family reside. She loves environmental conservation, hunting for vintage and thrifted treasures, and going on food-centric travel adventures.

Taylor Nolan

development director

Taylor graduated from The Ohio State University in May 2019 with a BA. After completing an internship with She Has A Name in summer 2018, she joined the SHAN staff team. Taylor is currently a student at Capital University Law School. As Development Director, Taylor focuses on sustainability and longevity for She Has A Name. In her spare time, Taylor enjoys reading, road trips, and live music.

Jennifer Taylor

Community Engagement Director

Jennifer has been involved in the Columbus area human trafficking awareness community since 2018. For SHAN, she coordinates our many volunteers and works with our partner organizations to ensure SHAN is being supportive of this important community. Jennifer is a graduate of the Ohio State University and has an extensive career in human resource management. Jennifer and her husband have 3 children and a sweet pup, Eddie. She loves farmer’s markets, craft shows, and the Columbus food scene.
