She Has A Name is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization committed to engaging the community, strengthening partner organizations, and equipping survivors through workforce development. We join together declaring that survivors of human trafficking have a name, a nobility, and a narrative. Our 2018 Impact Report is a helpful resource in learning more about who we are as an organization.

She Has A Name is a strong community of abolitionists that exists to fight human trafficking through education, collaboration, and survivor care.

To see all those impacted by human trafficking restored into society and thriving in their community.

We can't care about an issue we don't know exists. As a community resource we hold quarterly classes that offer a framework to understand human trafficking and serve survivors. Training equips attendees to understand what human trafficking is and why it happens, care for those affected and get involved.

As a resource to practitioners, we connect existing efforts with best practices, evidence-based research, and community capital to provide exceptional care to survivors. We're focused on assessing and delivering projects to streamline efforts, enabling organizations to focus on what they do best: care for survivors.

Survivor Care

We act as a resource to survivors by standing in the gap between restorative care and transitional employment by supporting the pursuit of higher education. Our hope is that more survivors would be restored into society, welcomed in the workplace and thriving in their community.
