Who We Are

She Has A Name is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization committed to engaging the community, strengthening the anti-human trafficking ecosystem in central Ohio, and empowering those locally impacted by this issue. Since 2010 we have responded to human trafficking as "bookends" to the anti-human trafficking movement. We do this by:

  • Providing prevention education and resources to equip professionals, parents and caregivers to recognize and report suspected exploitation.

  • Caring for survivors of human trafficking by offering scholarships along with social and spiritual support groups

  • Caring for solicitors (those arrested for purchasing sex) by facilitating the Solicitor Education Program, a trauma-informed and evidence-based course designed to reduce recidivism and connect buyers with resources for healing.

Our 2023 Annual Report is a helpful resource in learning more about who we are as an organization.

Mission

She Has A Name is a strong community that exists to fight human trafficking through education and care for all those impacted.

Vision

To see all those impacted by human trafficking restored into society, welcomed in the workplace, and thriving in community.
