She Has A Name’s 2025 Impact

This summary highlights our efforts through the 2025 calendar year (January 1st - December 31st). None of this would be possible without the faithfulness of our advocates and the generosity of our community. We invite you to invest in She Has A Name as you read and reflect. With your contributions we will be able to serve survivors and solicitors in 2026.

MISSION

She Has A Name is a strong community that exists to fight human trafficking through education and care for those impacted.

VISION

Our vision is to see all those impacted by human trafficking restored into society, welcomed in the workplace, and thriving in community.

Educate

Educate, equip, and empower the community to fight human trafficking.

SHAN facilitates four unique training programs to address the complex topic of human trafficking. Each is tailored to vulnerable populations and the communities that serve them.

There is more work to be done…

Almost every time we lead a training, we are asked, “what about kids? Do they know about this?”. We know that the average age of entry into sex trafficking in the state of Ohio is 15 years old. Yet there are few efforts taken to ensure youth are aware of the realities of exploitation and equipped to recognize and report suspected cases. She Has A Name has adapted our trusted Introduction to Human Trafficking class to empower kids to avoid exploitation.

Will you invest in education to see more kids empowered to avoid exploitation and meaningfully join the cause in 2026?

Care

Care for the diverse needs of all those impacted by human trafficking

Survivor Care

She Has A Name offers two scholarships and two support groups for survivors of human trafficking. Interest grows in both areas as more people move beyond recovery and look ahead to what’s next as they thrive in community.

This award has been instrumental, allowing me to hire a publicist who brought my vision to life for my book release and signing event.

There is more to be done…

When we opened applications in fall 2025 there was a wait list of 100 survivors. You can see that the need for this investment is growing exponentially. For the first time we had to say “no” to deserving applicants due to funding limitations.

Will you join us and send more survivors through school in 2026?

solicitor care

Solicitor Education Programs LLC assumed all management of Franklin County’s program in September 2025. A percentage of profits continue to be invested in SHAN’s survivor care initatives.

Information about this trauma-informed and evidence-based program was shared at a variety of conferences, webinars, and community settings.

There is more to be done…

Our sex trafficking demand reduction curriculum is waiting to go out to male-centric spaces like fraternities, youth groups, and other community places.

Will you change the conversation about cultural acceptance of sexual exploitation?
