Clothing Swap and Sale to benefit She Has a Name

Labor trafficking enslaves about 24.9 million people globally. Every single one of us likely possess some item created under forced or child labor. We want to raise awareness for labor trafficking by hosting a clothing swap. The event will be educational and will raise money for She Has A Name. 


Cost | $10 per person to get in, each ticket allows a guest to take their first 5 articles of clothing, each additional item is $1 each. 

Details | Gently used clothing will be collected at Roosevelt Coffee House and Veritas Community Church from April 16th - May 13th. Clothes may also be dropped off at the Swap starting at 9 am on May 19th.
Tickets are necessary to get into the event, donated clothes are considered a donation to raise funds and awareness to combat human trafficking.

  • Tops
  • Sweaters
  • Coats
  • Accessories (No Shoes)
  • Pants
  • Shorts
  • Dresses

FAQs

Do I need to donate clothes to attend the Swap?

Nope! Anyone is welcome to come shop the swap on May 19th.

Can I bring clothes to donate the day of the event?

Yes! We will have volunteers on site, sorting and putting out any donations we receive the day of the event. Donations will be accepted until 1pm.

Will tickets be available the day of the event?

Yes! Tickets will be available at the door.

Will I be able to purchase your additional items at the event or do I need to pay for them in advance?

You can purchase as many items of clothing as you want at the event! Your ticket will come with 5 items of clothing - additional items are $1 each.

Are there any items you don't want donated for the event?

Please refrain from donating items that have heady wear and tear, shoes or large accessories, bathing suits and undergarments.

Will there be both Men's and Women's clothes available?

We will put out what we get donated and will try to update this page as the event gets closer. We expect to have a majority of women's clothes due to the nature of the event.

Bummer, I can't go! How can I let my friends know about the event?

Hang an event poster in your dorm, apartment building or community meeting space. Share from the swap's Facebook event. You are welcome to make a donation to the cause through the ticketing site.
