This committee meets the third Thursday of every month. It works on the preventative side of human trafficking by examining efforts to reduce the public desire for the sale of persons, both in the labor and sex industry.
The Demand Reduction Committee exists recognizing the prevalence and brutality of the human trafficking industry. In response, we work to decrease the demand through community education, specialized interventions and strategic partnerships.
