A CULINARY ADVENTURE HONORING OHIO FIRST LADY KAREN KASICH AND CELEBRATING THE LIFE OF SURVIVORS

In the spirit of the underground supper clubs which debuted Freedom a la Cart to the Columbus dining scene, Eat Up! Columbus is a culinary adventure to benefit Freedom’s continued work to empower survivors of human trafficking as they build a new life of freedom and self-sufficiency. This year we are pleased to honor Ohio First Lady, Mrs. Karen Kasich. Mrs. Kasich has been an advocate for victims of human trafficking, the Franklin County CATCH (Changing Actions to Change Habits) Court program and a long-time supporter of Freedom a la Cart.

The evening’s dinner party will showcase a female-led team of Columbus’ top up-and-coming chefs who will prepare an innovative six-course menu complemented by select drink pairings. Selected chefs will collaborate to create a unique culinary experience for guests, while supporting an important cause in our community — Freedom a la Cart’s work to empower and employ survivors of human trafficking in Central Ohio.
