"Heart Without A Habit" is a raw and honest account of a woman's journey to sobriety. Despite experiencing horrific traumas, including rape, domestic violence, human trafficking, and the troubled teen industry, Karen Monroe found unwavering love and support from God. Through community connections, recovery treatment, anonymous rooms, and an active prayer life, she was able to heal her heart from trauma and break free from the lies she told herself, finding recovery and a renewed sense of self. Karen has been honored with the “She Has A Name Dream Scholarship” to support the publication of her first book.
